# How I use AI

I'm an AI consultant, so you might expect AI to write everything here. It doesn't. Each article and episode says how AI was involved, and this page explains what that means.

## Articles

I write my articles myself. I use AI for research, and for spelling and grammar checks. Articles are marked **Written by Ian**.

## Podcast episodes

The conversations are real and unscripted. The show notes are drafted with AI, and the transcripts are made automatically by AI, so they can contain mistakes. Episodes are marked **AI-assisted show notes**.

## Images

Where an image was made with AI, its description says so.
