# Affiliate links and sponsorship

**Draft for Ian to check (28 October 2026).** Written from his existing pages and notes. Still to confirm:

- Your current ambassador and partner relationships (I've listed Adobe Express and Agorapulse from what's in your archive
- confirm both are current and whether either is paid)
- Any other sponsors, free accounts or gifts to list

This site is free to read, and I want to keep it that way. Some of the money that pays for the time it takes comes from affiliate links and occasional sponsorships. Here's exactly how they work.

## Affiliate links

Some links to tools and products are **affiliate links**. If you buy through one, the company pays me a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and sometimes you get a discount.

- Affiliate links are marked with a small **asterisk** (\*). Tap it for a short explanation.
- They go through a short address starting **iag.me/go/**.
- At the end of each article there's a list of **direct links without affiliate codes**, if you'd rather use those.

## What never changes

- I only recommend tools I've used and believe in.
- I include good tools that have no affiliate scheme, and I leave out tools that pay well but aren't good.
- A commission never changes a review or a ranking.

## Ambassadors and partners

I'm proud to work with some companies whose tools I already use:

- **Adobe Express**: I'm an Adobe Express Ambassador.
- **Agorapulse**: I'm an Agorapulse ambassador.

When I write about these companies, I say so in the article.

## Sponsorship

- Sponsored content, such as a sponsored podcast episode or video, is clearly labelled as sponsored at the start.
- Sponsors don't get to approve or change what I say.
- I don't accept guest posts or paid links on this site.

## Free accounts and gifts

Companies sometimes give me free access to a tool so I can review it. When that's the case, I say so in the review.

## The rules I follow

This follows the UK Advertising Standards Authority's guidance on marking advertising clearly, and the US Federal Trade Commission's rules on endorsements, for readers in America.
